We are architects . LOWRAIN and plant decoration idea was developed for personal change and family collaboration. I like to compose, layout, combine textures and colors in interiors from natural materials and plants. Andrius creates architecture, spatial solutions for individual and public projects, integrates decor elements, performs drawings, visualizations, production.
A positive attitude and creativity with joy in our studio is the key to success.

We create individual projects of preserved, dry or artificial plants of various sizes, produce repetitive decor elements.
Always start with space and light investigation , analyse interior and client’s wishes, offer solutions, coordinate them with the interior designer, prepare technical drawings, manufacture, install and maintain.
We work with experienced light and advertising gurus, reliable material suppliers and proffesional timber, glass and metal craftsmen.

History
Plant preservation and conservation methods have been known to mankind since ancient times. Even 30 years ago in Lithuania growers used this method on their farms and supplied raw materials to decor makers. Now the preservation technology has become relevant again, the patented industrial production / preparation has expanded rapidly. The concept and application of the Mur Végétal vertical garden, ceiling garden and wall garden, invented in 1998 by Patrick Blanco in France, became very popular.
Processes
The stabilization process begins with the harvesting of plants and flowers during the peak period of their vegetation to achieve maximum vitality and fresh look. After harvesting, plant juices are replaced with non-toxic vegetable and biodegradable preservative fluid and environmentally friendly pigments and dyes are used to ensure color. In accordance with the principles of sustainability, the interior elements developed by LOWRAIN are manufactured and constructed of biodegradable materials.

Maintenance-free and long-lasting decor:
The walls, installations and details of stabilized plants do not require water, irrigation, sunlight and soil. The plants retain their vitality, fresh appearance from 2 to 10 years, depending on storage conditions.

Ecology
Garden of stabilized plants are much more efficient than growing plants due to their lasting life and low energy consumption. Stabilized plants slow down use of artificial plants.
It is a sustainable product due to its extended lifespan and Carbon footprint, which is 3 times lower (0.46 / 1.63 Kg eq.C / kg) compared to the cut flower industry, and artificial plants – 4 times lower (0.46 / 2.03 Kg eq.C / kg)

According to research data, plant installations inside buildings effectively improve indoor acoustics.

The variety of stabilized and dry plants and plenty of elements (moss, foliage, twigs, leaves, flowers, woody parts) allows us to create unique projects for every taste and style. The versatility and longevity of the product open up a wide range of possibilities for integrating nature into the already formed environment.
Easy to customize and install
Plant designs are attached directly to a solid horizontal or vertical surface. Smaller decor elements are suspended or have a mobile sliding fastening system.
Conditions
For interiors only. Storage temperature 10-25 ° C. Recommended relative humidity> 70%. Do not place it near heating equipment or lamps closer than 0,5 m.
Because of UV rays, plants lose it‘s color, in a highly insolatated ereas, a window film for UV control ir required.
