Green space architects

We want to improve quality of life. LOWRAIN grew out of a classic architecture practice: architecture exists to create spaces that meet people's practical needs and also enrich them aesthetically, emotionally and culturally.

The emotional side is what interested the studio's founder, architect Laura Marmienė, most, and she chose plants as her tool. With the team we create living, preserved and artificial plant projects of every scale and produce repeatable decor pieces.

How we work

We analyse the space, light, interior style and the client's wishes, propose solutions, coordinate them with the interior designer, prepare technical drawings, then fabricate, install and maintain. Partner and architect Andrius Marma develops the spatial solutions, integrates decor elements and prepares drawings and visualisations.

Collaboration

We work with developers, architects and interior designers so clients can enjoy a complete environment for years. We collaborate with experienced lighting and signage specialists, reliable material suppliers and timber, glass and metal craftsmen.

Sustainability

We care about ecology and sustainable consumption: preserved plants have roughly a 3× lower carbon footprint than cut flowers and about 4× lower than artificial plants. Time is always on our side.
